His work on interaction design started with a research in wearable electronics with Xerox PARC for "The Crossing Project"in the year 2001. The project was an internationally acclaimed research project that formed the basis for various innovations, pervasive computing, ubiquitous computing and Tangible User Interfaces.
Since Digital Transformation was born from the human-centric and technology driven practice of interaction design, he has leveraged the academic experience and spear-headed Digital Transformation efforts in Italy, UAE and India, since 2007, helping several large organisations in transforming their business and CX strategy.
His efforts require a holistic steering of business model, financial simulations, service blueprint, digital blueprint, touch point map, consumer experience journey, back-end transformation, content guidelines as well as the execution, followed by scaling up, of the transformation.
He is well versed with interaction design & digital transformation as well as has a working knowledge of embedded-electronics, software and content which allows him to offer seamless innovation support to his clients and his own ventures.
Anurag holds a Masters from the prestigious Interaction Design Institute Ivrea situated in Turin, Italy. It was the world's first institute dedicated to Interaction Design and Design Thinking.
The institute boasts of a strong Alumni spearheading innovation in some of the worlds largest consumer tech companies.
He did his training at the University of Toronto under Professor Steve Mann, the father of wearable computing.
His work involved designing and engineering a commercial version of the 'Eye Tap', a wearable computer and head mounted display. Some of his research work was accepted in the prestigious CHI library
